The conference will kick-off with an opening ceremony followed by a grand opening session. High-level speakers such as Vladimir Yakunin, President (RZD), and Jean-Pierre Loubinoux, General Director (UIC), will welcome participants to Saint Petersburg. The first day will consist of a four-part programme.

The second day will address important topics such as "Wagonload - thriving in North America, surviving in Europe?" and Combined traffic "The need to drive efficiency". The conference will end with a grand closing session.
